Supposing Him to be the Gardener

Sermons, from the Canon to the Ordinary in the Episcopal Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania and the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York. Why call it Supposing Him to be the Gardener? Because Mary Magdalene, on the first Easter, was so distracted by her pain that she failed to notice the Divine in her midst. So do I. All the time. This title helps me remember that the Divine is everywhere--in the midst of deep pain as well as in profound joy. And everywhere in between.

The next social gathering has been changed to March 2 at 4:30 pm.
Remember, we are doing J2A lessons at 10:15 every Sunday morning and the Sunday evening gatherings are just for fun. Confirmation now meets in the Youth Room at 10:15 am and the older kids meet with Allie in my office at the same time.
Servers this week: John and Jeremy Fithian. Meet me at the altar by 8:40 am for instructions. Thanks.....Cathy

Can the social event include the kids making a meal together, Pizza or spaghetti? I remember reading this in the J2A info DeLiza gave me. Gets the kids talking to each other - and then board games vs a movie?

Or the weather is right, meet at Rotary Rink for free skating then SPOT for hot cocoa?
